Raptor Shipment Lithium Battery Checklist
1 – Embedded Microsoft Surface Pro 9 attached to lid of equipment. Internal encased battery is 47.7wh. Secured to equipment lid with multiple fastners.

2 – Inside Raptor equipment is a 64wh LiFePO4 battery. Well secured with numerous metal Fastners. Battery area is further secured with cover and equipment is housed in a ruggedized case.

Proper Shipping Name: Lithium ion batteries contained in equipment
IATA Packing Instruction: PI 967, Section II
Battery Size: Both <100 Wh (no Class 9 label required)
Packaging: Custom foam packaging designed for extreme shipping conditions. Fiberboard outer material used and equipment is well secured with no chances of movement during transit. Battery is installed and protected with retaining brace and two large fasteners. Because this is then encased in a ruggedized case, this is also considered “internal”.
Fuse and switch prevent accidental activation during transport.
No Class 9 hazard label needed (since both batteries are ≤100 Wh).
